BC-NJ Diesel Injector Durability Test Bench

The BC-NJ Diesel Injector Durability Test Bench is designed for durability and running-in testing of electronically controlled diesel injectors, particularly for production-line applications.

The system can test 8 injectors simultaneously and uses a common rail pump driven by an 11kW motor. The pump-end fuel pressure can reach up to 300 MPa, while the fuel temperature is controlled between 40°C and 50°C by a dedicated refrigeration unit.

The BC-NJ provides a controlled environment for injector endurance testing, helping manufacturers and testing facilities evaluate injector operation under specified test conditions.

Designed for Injector Production-Line Durability Testing

The main purpose of the BC-NJ is to perform durability testing of electronically controlled injector assemblies on production lines.

The system integrates:

  • Machine frame and protective enclosure

  • Main drive system

  • Fuel supply system

  • Fuel cooling system

  • Electronic injector drive system

  • Control system

The integrated design allows injectors to be installed quickly for durability testing.

8-Injector Testing Capacity

The BC-NJ is equipped with 8 electronic injector drive channels and can perform durability testing on 8 injectors.

The injector low-pressure fuel lines and electrical cables are manually connected, allowing the injectors to be installed and removed according to production and testing requirements.

11kW Common Rail Pump Drive

The oil source is generated by a Bosch common rail pump driven by the main motor.

The main drive motor specification is:

  • 380V

  • 50Hz

  • 11kW

  • Speed range: 40–1450 r/min

The motor and common rail pump are connected through a durability-rated coupling and protected by a safety enclosure.

A matching variable-frequency drive is used to control the motor.

Up to 300 MPa Pump-End Pressure

The BC-NJ is designed for high-pressure common rail injector durability testing.

The specified maximum pump-end fuel supply pressure is 300 MPa.

The rail pressure measurement system uses a high-pressure sensor with a measurement range of 0–350 MPa and an accuracy class of 0.5%.

The pressure sensor is installed on a dedicated common rail.

Controlled Fuel Temperature: 40–50°C

Fuel temperature is an important test parameter for injector durability testing.

The BC-NJ maintains the fuel temperature within a controlled range of 40–50°C.

A dedicated refrigeration unit provides forced cooling to help maintain the required fuel temperature during continuous testing.

This design supports more consistent test conditions during injector endurance runs.

ISO 4113 and JB-1 Test Oil

The test medium can use:

  • ISO 4113 standard calibration oil

  • JB-1 calibration oil

Using the specified test medium allows the durability test to be conducted under defined test conditions.

Two-Stage Fuel Filtration

The fuel supply system uses a two-stage filtration arrangement.

A 200-mesh coarse filter is installed inside the fuel tank.

A high-precision filter with a filtration accuracy of 5 μm is installed between the fuel tank and common rail pump inlet.

This filtration system helps control contamination in the fuel supply circuit.

Closed Injector Return System

The injector return fuel uses a closed return circuit.

An open filter screen is installed in the return line, and after filtration, the fuel returns to the fuel tank.

This design supports continuous circulation of the test medium during durability testing.

High-Pressure Rail Measurement System

The BC-NJ uses a high-pressure sensor for rail pressure measurement.

The sensor specification is:

  • Measurement range: 0–350 MPa

  • Accuracy class: 0.5%

  • Installation: Dedicated common rail

This provides pressure monitoring during the durability test process.

Intelligent Test Control

The control system can calculate the required main motor speed according to the preset fuel injection quantity.

Operators can also set parameters such as:

  • Rail pressure

  • Waiting time

  • Injection quantity-related test conditions

This allows the test bench to operate according to defined durability test procedures.

Safety-Enclosed Test Area

The operating area is designed as an enclosed workspace.

The test bench frame is welded from sheet metal, and the operating area includes protective covers and lighting.

The main motor and common rail pump connection are also protected by a safety enclosure.

This design is intended for professional production and testing environments.
